Dog of the Week, Frenchies!
This week, we honor Toby (the original) and Alfie (the little brother) as our co-dogs of the week! We have to honor them together, because neither would be okay with the other one being named dog of the week first.
Here we go.
Once upon a time, Dawg Gone It had a French Bulldog who was ALWAYS around for daycare.
We loved him, and he loved us, and he was a little nut, and life was good.
Toby had such a big personality that we even had him play on big dog side sometimes if he got to daycare early and there weren’t any little dogs for him to play with yet.
Then he got a mini-me, and we doubled our fun! Heeeeere’s ALFIE!
You could probably guess that holding Alfie became a pretty popular activity at Dawg Gone It.
Breed: French Bulldogs! Vive la France!
Age:
Weight:
First Time at DGI:
Shedding: Not so’s you would notice. Short fur, small dogs, tan fur, pretty good.
Nickname(s):
Best Friends:
Funny Story: First off, Alfie and Toby have more followers on social media than you do. Just accept it. I mean, you can see why, right?
Although Alfie is about the size of a size 7 woman’s shoe, he thinks he’s a Great Dane and will play with anyone of any size! As for Toby, being a social media superstar with his brother Alfie can be hard work, so Tobias hides away from the limelight and hangs out in the corner of group play napping. Actually, Toby used to be a lot crazier before his little brother came along, but with great brother comes great responsibility, and Toby became an instant role model when his little bro came along.
Additional Fun Fact: Toby is the only dog mentioned BY NAME in the Dawg Gone It employee handbook. He’s that big a deal.
Okay, one last photo:
YES, YES I DO! (Drops laptop, runs to daycare to hold Alfie.)
